Abishekam to Lord Nataraja was performed on Thiruvathirai Nakshatram by the people of Kovilpatty and Tirunelveli.
Sarparai temple is based in a remote location amidst paddy fields. The event was planned extensively over a period of 1.5 years and attended by 1000+ devotees. Thirumurai pathigam was sung by local children group and activities were attended by the public from various parts of Tirunelveli district.
